A MAN has been brought before Limerick District Court and charged with the murder of a teenager at a refugee centre in Limerick.
Farah Redouane, (21) a Moroccan national with an address at the Sarsfield Inn Hostel, was charged with the murder of 17-year-old Somali national Ali Ibraham Lal.
The court heard the accused was an asylum applicant and he was granted free legal aid.
Judge Aneas McCarthy remanded Mr Redouane in custody to appear before the District Court again on Friday 30 January.
