IF looking to acquire some pieces of art, or make an exploration in that direction, Sol Art presents the opportunity. This company will host an exhibition, Limerick Art Fair, at Radisson Blu Hotel, Ennis Road from Friday February 5 to Sunday 7.

This weekend show has promised “work by some of the finest painters from all over Ireland such as James Brohan, Arthur Maderson and Jimmy Lawlor and feature work by local Limerick artists. Also included in the show will be the work of American painter Rimi Yang. Rimi’s work was chosen to be shown in the presenter’s lounge at this year’s Golden Globe Awards”.

Yang got a spread in American Art Collector magazine and her work is collected by celebrities such as Halle Berry.

The official opening of Limerick Art Fair is from 7pm to 9.30pm on Friday February 5, or drop by on Saturday 6 are 11am to 7pm and on Sunday 7, 11am to 6pm. Admission is free and for more information you can refer to www.solart.ie.
